Have been teaching them for 2 years. They were hard to get to at first but through discipline and a lot of coaxing, they're finally moulding themselves to be good human beings.

I believe the goal of education is behavioural change. And I believe I've achieved that with them, regardless of their SPM results.

Thanks for Dr Rajendran and his colleague, Mr Rahul from Minda Sakti Resources for coming to our humble school.

There are 4 writing components in SPM 1119/1 and 2. DW, CW, Summary and Novel. In order to get A or B band, you have to include not just Simple Sentence but Complex Sentence, Compound Sentence and Phrasal Verb as well as dialogues, questions and Proverbs/Idioms.

You can also the technique of 1H+4W for introductory paragraph. How, What, When, Where and Who.

Don't forget to utilize synonyms so the vocabulary is wide.

For poems, students should use the PASIR MAS technique to analyse the poems. PASIR MAS is an acronym referring to all the literary devices such as personification and alliteration.

For novel, students should use BOLDER technique, referring to thr chracteristics that all main characters would probably have. Students should also know the main elements in a novel.
